1. Data We Collect (and what we definitely do NOT do)
Redline collects only the essential information needed to operate our car service and repair workshop efficiently and responsibly. This includes basic customer details, service history, vehicle information, and diagnostic data generated when Redline analyzes your vehicle or service requests. We don’t scan your vehicle records without permission, nor do we store sensitive information like passwords or payment details unless you explicitly provide them. Your vehicle data stays secure and exactly where you expect it. Occasionally, we may keep anonymized performance data to enhance our service quality, but this data can’t be traced back to you or your vehicle.
2. How We Use Your Information
Your data is used solely to make Redline work better for you. This means providing clear service insights, generating repair explanations, supporting documentation, and improving our overall workshop experience. Your information is never shared with public AI models and stays within systems dedicated to your account. We may analyze anonymous trends to improve our services—for example, if many customers have trouble with a specific repair, we refine our approach. Even our lead mechanic admits that some car issues can be simple yet confusing, especially when he’s the one who designed the fix.
3. How Your Data is Stored & Protected
All data is encrypted during transfer and storage using top industry standards. Access to our systems is limited to essential team members with strict role-based permissions, logging, and regular internal reviews. Backups are securely stored in separate locations. Your vehicle information and service records are never publicly exposed and remain within Redline’s controlled environment. We handle your data with more care than our mechanics handle their favorite tools— and that’s saying something, since those tools are their pride and joy.
4. Your Rights & How to Manage Your Data
You always have full control over your data. You can request access, export, correction, or deletion of your information anytime. You can remove uploaded documents, restrict processing of sensitive details, or close your account completely. When you do, Redline deletes your personal data and service records unless legally required to keep them. There are no penalties for leaving. We’ll part ways professionally and smoothly. Our lead mechanic might take it personally if you stop using our services, but that’s between him and his coffee.
Your vehicle data, service history, and all outputs generated by Redline remain yours. We don’t claim ownership, reuse your information, or secretly admire your vehicle’s condition while pretending it’s our idea. Redline only processes what you provide and exists to support your vehicle’s care, not to exploit your data.
If you have questions about this policy or how your data is handled, contact us. A real person will respond—probably a bit tired, but always honest.
